The Challenge
Approaching the end of a three-year business plan, our client, a charity trust, faced a variety of competing priorities reflected in the charity's team and operations. They needed clarity on future direction and help defining a vision, mission, and outcomes framework to guide their activities in the years ahead.
The Solution
We analysed three years' worth of activities, achievements, finances and results – from visitor satisfaction ratings to profit ratios. We then designed a programme of workshops to build a shared picture of user personas and SWOT, define and co-create compelling vision & mission statements and blend different logic model frameworks to determine outcomes.
The Impact
We helped create full team engagement and buy-in to a vision, mission, and shared outcome measures. A solid basis for a three-year business plan: this was a piece of strategy work that the senior leadership team were confident would inform day-to-day work rather than gathering dust on a shelf.
