A:
I wanted my work to be challenging and varied, and consulting allows me to get exposure to an array of projects across different sectors.

Q: What were your first two weeks of life at LanciaConsult like?
A:
During my first two weeks at LanciaConsult, I got to know both the Bristol and Belfast teams, and everyone was so welcoming! There were informative training sessions to understand Lancia's clients and their projects, and lots of social activities with both teams!

The training sessions covered a wide range of topics, from an overview of change management to improving presentation skills and confidence in meetings. These sessions were immensely beneficial to me. We also undertook a project spanning the two weeks, encompassing aspects of project and change management. This project allowed us to apply the skills we had acquired during the training sessions. We subsequently presented our work to some of the existing team members, providing us with valuable presentation experience.

The teams in both Belfast and Bristol made me feel so welcome, and our social lunches and dinners gave me a great chance to get to know so many of the team and gain insights into their ongoing projects and working groups.

I also found the spotlight sessions on specific clients really engaging. Learning about Lancia's involvement in various projects and programmes was fascinating.

Q: Describe the LanciaConsult vibe in 3 words.

I once broke my arm by walking backwards off a bunk bed.

Q: Why did you choose consulting?
A:
I wanted to work across different industries and service offerings to gain an understanding of what I enjoy doing most. Consulting gives me that opportunity.

Q: What were your first two weeks of life at LanciaConsult like?
A:
My 2-week induction at Lancia helped me gain real insight into how Lancia operates as a company and the varied work they undertake. Attending spotlights on projects leveraging change management, data & analytics and project management, experts highlighted Lancia's dedication to using cross-functional teams to instil a sustainable change for their clients. I'm excited to have the opportunity to get involved in a varied range of projects, and I am confident this is the best place for me to develop my consulting skills. This feeling was further strengthened by learning about Lancia's approach to training and feedback. Having a dedicated 'Lift' coach who supports, coaches and tailors your journey at Lancia is invaluable.

Meeting the team on the first day instantly helped me to settle my nerves. I was welcomed by a diverse, tight-knit group to which I felt a connection from the get-go. Everyone has been super approachable and provided support whenever needed. As the Bristol office is growing, you can sense an entrepreneurial and ambitious spirit at the heart of it. I was positively surprised by how every consultant here has the opportunity to drive Lancia's culture through the various work groups, internal work, and activities outside of work that are on offer.

Q: Describe the LanciaConsult vibe in 3 words.
A: Fun. Challenging. Encouraging.
