Consulting with Cleo

Meet our newest Senior Consultant in Belfast, Cleo Collyer-Greer.

We're delighted Cleo made the jump from PwC to join Lancia Consult this year. In this quick Q&A, you'll find out what she's been up to and what she enjoys about life in consulting.

Q: How are you enjoying life at Lancia so far?

A: I'm absolutely loving it! Everyone has been so incredibly welcoming, and I'm feeling really settled. I enjoy the experience of being in a smaller company than I'm used to and always coming into the office to familiar and friendly faces (and dogs!!).

Q: Can you tell us about your background before joining the team?

A: I was a Technology Consultant at PwC for 5 years after joining them through their graduate scheme. I was in the same cohort as Grace, and Anna (other members of the Belfast team) was on my first PwC project, so there were already a few friendly faces when I joined! As part of the graduate pathway, I spent two years moving through several roles across various sectors, including PMO, RPA development, functional support and business analysis, before aligning with the FS Salesforce practice. My roles were mostly focused on the build and testing stages of Salesforce implementation projects and involved a lot of hands-on Salesforce configuration

Q: What do you enjoy most about a career in consulting?

A: I love the variety that comes with consulting and that from day to day and project to project, things can change so much as I constantly work with different teams and clients in various industries. It keeps things interesting!

Q: What initially drew you to consulting?

A: Honestly, I didn't know what technology consulting was when I applied for the grad scheme! I studied music technology at university, so it was completely left field, and I just took a chance, and that worked out really well for me. I often think about how lucky I am, as I love the profession. Coming from a creative background, I had this idea that business and office jobs were stale and not for me, but the creativity required to solve client problems effectively was a pleasant surprise, and I've ended up loving it more than I ever thought I would! I'm happy.

Q: What do you think makes a great consultant?

A: A great consultant is determined, curious, flexible, empathetic and has a real passion for problem-solving.

Q: Can you tell us more about the LC vibe in just three words?

A: Vibrant, Bubbly, Refreshing
